Marcos Hernandez - Organizer
Marcos has completed his MS in Mechanical Engineering and is currently do research in fuel cell technology and learning robotics at Colorado School of Mines. He never found interest in dancing until his first year (2015) at CSM through the Mines Ballroom Dance Club. There he learned Salsa, Swing, Tango, and Viennese Waltz. His favorite . . . you guessed it, Tango. His passion for the dance has led him to become a captain of Mines’ Tangents Tango Team. He is easily inspired.
Andrea Golding - Webmaster
Andrea earned her BS in Computer Science with a specialization in Computer Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines in 2019 and now works as a computer engineer. After discovering Tango in 2017, she continues to pursue her love for the dance through supporting the Mines Tango Team, community events, and creating choreographies. She also enjoys exploring other dances, such as Swing and Salsa. You may also find her writing, shooting archery, playing tennis, and practicing piano.
Angela Moser - Outreach
Angela went to the Colorado School of Mines and majored in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering (BS 2017) and Chemistry (BS 2018). She started dancing tango at the Ballroom Dance Club's weekly lessons in January 2015 and has been venturing farther and farther into the world of tango ever since. She was the Treasurer of the Mines Ballroom Dance Club for the 2017-2018 school year and she founded the Mines Tango Team in 2017. Angela is currently living in Boston and working as a chemist doing research in the pharmaceuticals industry, but she is excited to return to her alma mater and tango roots for UniTango 2020.
Yeo Li Hsia - Operations and Finance
Lihsia is a PhD candidate in Physics at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She’s been dancing Fusion, Blues, and Tango since 2016, and is the current president of the Tango Club at CU. When not sciencing or dancing, she can be found gardening, cooking, video gaming, or playing dungeons and dragons.
